The service life of the airframes in our currently operating aircraft is determined by the SAFE-LIFE method. This means that their time of operation is limited according to their total number of flight hours and/or take-offs.

Therefore, we focus on research and development of new technologies for monitoring, analyzing and predicting the state of aircraft structures by means of Structure Health Monitoring (SHM) methods.
