Departures of two of our L410 UVP-E20 aircraft took place on the 15th and 16th April 2014 to the Buryatia Republic in Russia. The 19 seaters, numbered 2912 and 2914, have been equipped with digital avionics and autopilot. It is also possible to increase the cargo hold thanks to moving bulkheads.
The aircraft arrived at their destination, Baikal airport, a week later on Tuesday 22nd May. In the near future the aircraft will be used to fly around the whole republic. The first flights are planned to fly to Nizhneangarsk and Taksim. The maximum range of the aircraft, which is able to take off and land on short unpaved runways, is 1500km, and is therefore able to fly anywhere in the republic.
Since gaining the type certificate in theRussian Federationin 2009, we have already supplied 39 aircraft to Russia.
