On the 1st and 2nd March 2017 the fourth aero-technical conference of Russian L 410 operators took place in our company. Current issues related to the operation and maintenance of this aircraft were discussed.
The Adviser to the General Director for Business Development for Russia Sergey Martynov opened the conference with information about resolved issues, which were raised at the last meeting. Afterwards it was followed by speeches from representatives of companies GEAC, Avia Propeller and Sokol (authorized service centre of GEAC and Avia Propeller in Russia). All operators talked in detail about problems they are facing concerning their aircraft operation. High professionalism of all involved, as well as friendly business relations that have been created over the years, helped to find answers to some questions arising during the conference. All participants left the conference looking forward to the next year’s meeting, because the conference was for all very beneficial.
This year we welcomed to the conference a new guest, the state transport leasing company (GTLK), which signed a contract for delivery of five L 410 aircraft with Ural Company for Civil Aviation (UZGA) last year. GTLK has the largest leasing L 410 fleet in Russia. Representatives of the company met our operators with new and more acceptable purchase conditions for aircraft lease. Thanks to the activities of GTLK in Russia purchase of our aircraft by Russian customers has now become more price affordable.
Last year 9 aircraft were handed over to Russian customers - Khabarovsk Airlines, the UZGA company and Orenburzje Airlines. Khabarovsk Airlines has already purchased the fourth L410 aircraft, Orenburzje Airlines extended its fleet to ten L410 aircraft and the UZGA Company purchased four aircraft. Since 2009, when the L 410 UVP-E20 received Russian type certificate, 54 aircraft were delivered to the Russian Federation.
