The L 410 NG aircraft has successfully represented our company at the Dubai Airshow! Our crew - pilots Vojtěch Karlík, Petr Jarocký, and Roman Mikel, along with technician Miroslav Plášek, completed a journey through the airspace of nine countries, including Greece, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Dubai. The crew covered a distance of 5,200 km for this exhibition, spending 16 hours in the air, and the aircraft consumed 5,600 liters of fuel.
Our presence at this prestigious aviation exhibition marked a significant milestone in presenting our expertise and capabilities. The two-story booth, stylized to resemble an airport and equipped with a bar and three meeting rooms, garnered considerable interest from visitors. The Dubai Airshow is one of the world's largest aviation showcases, focusing on both military and civil sectors of the aviation industry. Czech participation in this year's Dubai Airshow consists of twelve exhibitors sharing a common booth.
Alongside our company, representatives from Aero Vodochody, Mesit, Era, and our parent company Omnipol were present, with key executives such as company president Jiří Podpěra, vice president Artem Movsesyan, and others in attendance. The list of companies also included the state repair company LOM PRAHA and its subsidiary VR GROUP, technological holding LPP, non-destructive testing specialists from Radalytica, aircraft landing gear manufacturer Charvát AXL, CSG Aerospace, and more. Introducing themselves as newcomers is Zuri, a Czech company developing a hybrid autonomous aircraft with vertical takeoff. Business teams from PBS Velká Bíteš and MGM COMPRO also attended the event.
Our business team, led this time by board member Alena Medová alongside director of commerce Tomáš Novák, was engaged in numerous negotiations throughout the exhibition, both at the booth and directly with the aircraft. Notably, even a sandstorm warning and heavy rain did not slow down the pace of our presentation marathon!
