The L 420 is the latest version of a well proven 19-seat turboprop commuter with outstanding flight characteristics and operational reliability, easy handling and simple maintenance. Its remarkable ~hot and high~ performance, excellent STOL capabilities, durable structure and ability to operate under extreme climatic conditions make it an excellent transportation tool.

As well as the L 410, the L 420 is equally capable of operating in dry and torrid deserts as well as cold and hostile mountains. The aircraft's consistent and reliable service coupled with low acquisition and maintenance cost can give the operator a head start in running his business.

With its unique undercarriage, the aircraft can operate virtually anywhere, needing just a few hundred meters of airstrip with a minimum strength of 6 kg/sq cm (85 lb/sq in), being it rain-soaked grass or gravel.

The wide-bodied fuselage and best quality finish provide the highest standard of passenger comfort and allows maximum versatility and utilization of the aircraft including executive, cargo, maritime patrol, surveillance, ambulance and paratroops.

The L 420 is certified by the FAA according to FAR 23, Amendment 41 regulation.
