Aircraft Industries has delivered a second L 410 NG aircraft to Kazakhstan. The aircraft will expand the fleet of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The L 410 will primarily be used for saving lives, but the ministry will also deploy it for responding to natural disasters, accidents, and other emergency situations.
The first NG aircraft delivered to Kazakhstan at the end of March has already been successfully registered, is in operation, and is currently preparing for its first rescue mission.
A Versatile Aircraft
The strength of the L 410 NG lies in its versatility. Thanks to easily interchangeable kits, the aircraft operated by the Kazakh Ministry of Emergency Situations can be converted within minutes into various configurations — passenger, cargo, medevac, paratrooper transport, or equipped with biohazard isolation units for patients with infectious diseases. This versatility, combined with the aircraft’s reliability and ability to operate in extreme temperatures ranging from -50 to +50 degrees Celsius, makes it an ideal choice for the needs of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Additionally, the aircraft is capable of taking off and landing on unpaved runways as short as 500 meters.
