Today marks exactly ten years since the first flight of the L 410 NG – the modernized version of the legendary Czech Turbolet, originally developed in the 1960s in Kunovice. The L 410 NG offers improved flight performance, extended range, higher payload capacity, and state-of-the-art avionics.
Thanks to structural upgrades and more powerful engines, the new model can carry up to 500 kilograms more cargo than its predecessor. Its maximum range has increased to over 2,500 kilometers.
More than 600 Czech companies are involved in the aircraft’s production, and the entire machine is made up of over 200,000 individual parts. The L 410 NG continues to be fully developed and manufactured at the Aircraft Industries facility in Kunovice.
Aircraft of the L 410 family now operate on all continents, serving both civil and special missions – from Europe and Asia to Latin America.
The ten-year anniversary of the L 410 NG’s first flight marks an important milestone for us. It confirms the success of the modernization and the continuing demand for a reliable, multi-purpose aircraft of Czech origin.
