Aircraft Industries has signed a contract to deliver a new L 410 NG aircraft to the state enterprise LOM PRAHA. The aircraft will serve at the Flight Training Centre, which provides comprehensive training for transport pilots of the Czech Air Force.
The purchase agreement was ceremonially signed on 30 June 2026 in the presence of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Karel Havlíček and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Jaromír Zůna. The agreement was signed by Alena Medová, Chairwoman of the Board of Aircraft Industries, and Jiří Protiva, Director of the state enterprise LOM PRAHA.
The new L 410 NG will support the ongoing modernisation of the Flight Training Centre's training fleet and ensure the continuity of transport pilot training. In addition to the aircraft itself, the delivery includes integrated logistics support and professional personnel training. The aircraft is scheduled to be delivered by the end of March 2027, replacing the ageing L 410 UVP-T "Barča" aircraft.

The L 410 NG is the latest generation of the legendary Czech aircraft platform, building on more than fifty years of operational heritage. It features state-of-the-art avionics, outstanding operational reliability, low operating costs, and the ability to operate from short and unpaved runways. These capabilities make it an ideal platform not only for civil aviation but also for pilot training and a wide range of special mission applications.
