New General Agent for Brazil
We are proud to inform we have appointed the company TEAM – Transportes Especiais Aéreos e Malotes Ltda. based in Rio de Janeiro as the new general representative of Aircraft Industries in Brazil.
TEAM company and its president Mr. Mario Cesar Soares Moreira have been involved in the L 410 aircraft operation and maintenance since ten years back and apart of thein own L 410 operation they also run a fully qualified and certified service and training center and stock of L 410 spare parts.

New L 410 aircraft for French Guyane
Another new L 410 UVP-E20 which departed from Kunovice on Friday, April 30 to French Guyane. The aircraft with an exotic floral external livery will serve for regional passenger and freight transport under the flag of Air Guyane Express.

Another new L 410 UVP-E20 will be serving in humanitarian missions of the United Nations in Sudan. The aircraft with Serial No. 2720, which took off from Kunovice on Thursday morning, 8th April 2010 and left for Sofia, will be operated by Bulgarian company Heli Air Services.

Airworthiness Directive - new serial numbers of fire extinguishers with contaminated Halon
It has been issued an Airworthiness Directive for Halon 1211 Fire Extinguishers (Fire Fighting Enterprises Limited).
AD – EASA has decided that a further batch of fire extinguishers, identified by FFE to contain contaminated Halon, should also be removed from service.“
ASB – „The serial numbers in Appendix 1 are in addition to those previously listed in EASA AD 2009-251 and EASA AD 2009-262 and the associated FFE ASB 26-115.“

The new L 410 heading to Brazil
The first aircraft (Serial No. 2719) of this year has left the gate of Aircraft Industries on Tuesday 9th March. This new L 410 UVP-E20 aircraft flew to Brazil. It will serve as the first aircraft of the new regional airline company NOAR based in Recife and will serve for regional passenger transport in the North East of Brazil.

Aircraft with quick change ambulance kit will serve in Russia
The second new airplane flew off to Bashkortostan on Wednesday, 16/12/2009. The aircraft (serial number 092622) with a decent coating, equipped with digital avionics and in standard 19seat passengers version is interesting mainly due the fact it is delivered with "quick change conversion ambulance kit". The aircraft can be rapidly change from commuter to simple air ambulance version with six stretchers for transporting injured.

L 410 for Flying School
Two new aircraft L 410 UVP-E20 took off from Kunovice. On 5th December 2009 these new aircraft in commuter version, equiped with EFIS, without wing tip tanks, flew out to town of Sasovo (Russian Federation). Both of new L 410 serve for trainning of pilots at Sasovo Flying School of Civil Aviation.

The new L 410 aircraft flew to Russia
On Saturday 21 st November another new aircraft L 410 UVP-E20 took off from Kunovice airport. The aircraft with serial No. 092610, in 17-seat commuter version, with digital avionics EFIS and autopilot flew to Ufa (Bashkortostan, Russian Federation). The aircraft will be used for regional and international passenger traffic in the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Aircraft Industries, a.s. starts the cooperation with Aviation Museum in Olomouc-Neředín. Muzeum will obtain for its exposure the new exhibit - the aircraft L 610 M (S / N X-03) which is currently located in Aircraft Industries and is planning to drag to the museum before the end of this year. At first, the aircraft will take place at restoration workshop and somewhen next year it will be placed at indoor exposure of the museum.
Museum´s team consist of diverse experts from the aeronautical mechanics, former and active pilots, designers, IT specialists, fans of aviation and aircraft, who are associated in the 1st Aviation school Regiment (1 LSP). This organization led by Mr. Zdeněk Svobodník deals mainly with the school's air force, aviation museums and restoration activities. The museum was founded few months ago so the exposure is still developing. But now you can already see here aircraft as Mig 21, Mig 15, Aero L 39 Albatros, jet engines, including engine cut, ejection seat and cockpit of MiG 21MF. "1 LSP" also maps the history of Czech aviation and efforts to save documents and monuments. For more information visit the museum website here.

Representatives of the Bangladesh Air Force in Aircraft Industries
On Monday 7/9/2009 the delegation from Bangladesh visited Aircraft Industries. The purpose of this visit, led by the Deputy Chief of Bangladesh Air Force - Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Enamul Bari, was an audit of the "Military Program of Aircraft Industries“ regarding its ability to repair Bangladesh L-39 fleet. Audit results will be known within a few days.

We have celebrated the 40th anniversary of the first flight of L 410 aircraft
In April 2009 L 410 aircraft celebrated the 40th anniversary of its first take-off. During that time, it was produced over 1100 pieces. L 410 flies on five continents and has become a legend in its category.
On the occasion of this important anniversary of the Aircraft Industries held friendly meetings with witnesses and business partners.
At the meeting company informed about the strategic plan of a major modernization of the 410 aircraft.

Successful certification and first delivery of L 410 with EFIS
On Wednesday 4th February 2009, another new L 410 aircraft took off from Kunovice. The aircraft, Serial No. 082712, will serve SOMAGEC Company based in Equatorial Guinea.
The aircraft is the first L 410 equipped with EFIS (Electronic Flight Instrument System). Installation of the new digital avionics is an important aircraft modification fully approved by EASA and represents another step in innovation of L 410.

Aircraft Industries have got the Glider of the year 2008
Gliders from Aircraft Industries had been awarded at „Aircraft of the Year 2008“ enquiry. The enquiry is organized by Czech aeronautical internet server AEROWEB.CZ.
L 13 Blaník had been awarded a „Glider of the year 2008“ with 18 % of the total votes. L 23 Super Blaník with its 5% votes was on the 3rd place. Complete results of the enquiry can be found at www.aeroweb.cz.
„Aircraft of the Year 2008“ is the first annual volume of the enquiry. Aircraft had been nominated by editors of Aeroweb.cz considering the total number of aircraft operated in the Czech Republic. The votes were given by pilots (735 pilots) and people without flying license (358 people).

L410 flies for International Committee of the Red Cross
At the end of 2008 Aircraft Indrustries completed another aircraft. The new L 410, Serial No. 082630, operated by AIR-TEC company will serve to International Committee of the Red Cross. The new aircraft belongs to a group of L 410 that fly for humanitarian purposes, for example for the United Nations, which is the world’s biggest humanitarian organization ("World Food Program").
The new aircraft flew away from Kunovice on 7th January 2009 and it’s going to be operated for the Red Cross activities in Democratic Republic of Kongo.

Ilyushin IL-76TD operated by Kazakhstan company Berkut landed at the factory airport on Thursday on 16th October 2008.
This airlifter represents one the biggest transport aircraft in the world capable to carry up to 50 tons of load and able to land on unpaved airstrips.
Thanks to very quick, professional and smooth dispatch provided by AI airport staff we suppose that more landings of this unique aeroplane will take place in near future.

PAMCO INT. a.s. has decided to accept an offer of M/S Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company to acquire a 51% share in Aircraft Industries, a.s.
The transaction will provide Aircraft Industries, a.s. with an access to financial resources necessary for planned increase of production rate as well as for a major upgrade of its core product. Accordingly, our current and future customers will benefit from a continuing enhanced support and development of an L410/420 program. The original sole owner, PAMCO INT. a.s. will continue maintaining the capital interest in Aircraft Industries, a.s. and will actively participate in the management of the company.

Aircraft Industries as a part of PAMCO Group of Companies exhibited at the 9th International Exhibition of Defence and Security Technologies IDET 2007 in Brno at the beginning of May. Our stand was visited by a number of professionals, officials and enthusiasts and provided a great opportunity to have a number of fruitful meetings.

Aircraft Industries handed over a third brand new L 410 UVP-E20 to the Brazilian operator NHT Linhas Aéreas Ltda. The two aircraft delivered last year are operated from the base in Porto Alegre to Caxias do Sul, Curitiba, Horizontina, Navegantes, Pelotas, Rio Grande, Santa Maria, Santa Rosa, Santo Angelo, Santana do Livramento and Uruguiana. International route to Uruguay was commenced recently. These aircraft fly impressive 200 flight hours a month. A forth brand new L 410 UVP-E20 will be delivered at the beginning of June 2007.

A second L 410 UVP-E20 was delivered to Take Air, Martinique. The first L 410 UVP-E20, also operated by Take Air, logged well over 300 flight hours since it was delivered in December 2006. The scheduled charter flights connect Martinique with St Martin, Antigua, Guadeloupe, Dominica, St Lucia, St Vincent, Cannouan and Union. The second L 410 UVP-E20 landed at Martinique yesterday and will join Take Air’s fleet immediately after going through the necessary formalities.

An L 410 UVP-E20 flown by Korean Forest Aviation Office has been fitted with a pressurised refuelling system (single point), first of its type on an L 410 aircraft (it has been fitted to an L 420 in the past). The aircraft returned to Korea on Monday 5 March and resumed operation immediately after a successful test flight. Forest Aviation Office operates the plane since 2002 for aerial surveillance and control.

A newly refurbished assembly hall was opened at our base in Kunovice. The area of 12,460 square meters accommodates assembly lines of new as well as refurbished L 410 aircraft and a fully equipped work space for servicing L 410s for the current operators. This new production hall thus became “The Heart” of Aircraft Industries in Kunovice.

A first L 410 UVP-E20 is operated in Martinique. The aircraft was delivered in mid December and was flown from Kunovice via Barcelona, La Palma, Praia, Fortaleza and Cayenne to Martinique. During the first month of operation it has logged 166 flight hours. The schedule flights connect Martinique with St Martin, Antigua, Guadeloupe, Dominica, St Lucia, St Vincent, Cannouan and Union. A second (and probably not last) L 410 UVP-E20 for the same operator is on the assembly line and will be delivered by the end of January.

NHT - Linhas Aéras Ltda started commuter operations in the southern state of Rio Grande do Sul introducing their two brand new L 410 UVP-E20 planes. The new operator is a part of a business group that operates 250 buses in the south of the country with annual turnover of R$ 200 million. NHT - Linhas Aéras Ltda will serve 11 cities around the Porto Alegre city hub.

In August, the Brazilian operator NHT - Linhas Aéras Ltda received a second brand new L 410 UVP-E20, powered by Walter M601-E and equipped with Bendix-King avionics. Mr. Pedro Teixeira, the owner of the company, named the new aircraft NORMA and ANTARES.

Blanik L-33 Solo the winner of Region 9 Contest in the USA. In Sports Class, the overall winner, and the best story of the contest, was Horst Roehler who won four out of six days in his first ever race in the L-33 Solo.

The U.S. Civil Air Patrol ordered four more new L23 Super Blanik two-place training gliders for their operation. Altogether, the CAP operates over 25 Blaniks distributed evenly among the 50 U.S. states.
