L 410 PILOT TRAINING

Aircraft Industries, a.s. offers a comprehensive range of pilot trainings required to operate the L 410 type aircraft.

L 410 Type Rating

For holders of a CPL (with ATPL theory) or ATPL license as a mandatory qualification for flying the L 410. The training consists of theoretical lessons (CBT + 40 hours Ground School), practical part on a Full Flight Simulator (32 hours plus Skill Test) and Base Training (1 flight hour on the aircraft). Successful completion of above training will enable you to obtain full commercial operation qualification on the L 410. Course fulfils the EASA regulatory requirements and typically lasts 4-5 weeks.

L 410 NG Differential Training

This training will familiarize you with the differences between the versions of L 410 UVP-E20 or older variants of the L 410 and the L 410 NG version. The training is typically three days, consisting of 7 hours of theory including training on the Garmin 3000 and 5 flight hours on an aircraft.

L 410 Recurrent Trainings

License Proficiency Checks are provided by Aircraft Industries, a.s. for pilots holding a valid L 410 type qualification. Course Objective is to revalidate the L 410 Type Rating for another 6-12 months. The examination fulfils the EASA regulatory requirements. LPC for individuals consists of a four-hour simulator lesson plus briefing and debriefing. Or there is a more complex variant of 4 hours of theory plus 2 SIM lessons for company or military programs.

L 410 Renewal Course

Is intended for pilots who have expired Type Rating L 410 qualification. The course objective is to refresh and acquire necessary pilot competencies to renew the L 410 Type Rating. The Type Rating renewal fulfils the EASA regulatory requirements. The scope of training is determined individually according to the expiration date of the rating and total previous experience.

MCC (Multi Crew Cooperation)

For pilots who do not meet the pre-entry qualification necessary to start a Type Rating on a two-pilot aircraft. The course is attached to the Type Rating and consists of 25 hours of theoretical learning and 3 simulator slots.

Other Trainings

In addition to the mentioned trainings, Aircraft Industries, a.s. can provide other trainings to complement the missing pilot qualifications. These are Instrument Rating Training for single-engine SEP/IR aircraft, multi-engine MEP/IR aircraft using the L 410 simulator, as well as customer-based examiner testing or Line Flying Under Supervision and Line Checks. Last but not least, we are able to provide cadet training for civil operators as well as military forces for future L 410 pilots.

L 410 simulator

The above-mentioned trainings are carried out on the Level D (Type VII) Full Flight Simulator L 410 UVP-E20 (FFS), manufactured by CAE Inc., Canada, equipped with the GE engines H80-200. Visual system CAE Tropos 6000 XR provides a glass cockpit view of the aircraft surroundings with all hardware and computer programs that fully represent the aircraft on the ground and in the air. Motion system CAE 54in Hydraulic, MCLPC, HPU, 6-DOF provides full simulation of aircraft movements. FFS meets the requirements of the highest category of training equipment according to the latest edition of ICAO Document 9625, Issue 4, 2015 and meets the highest category of Type VII. The simulator has also been certified according to EASA CS-FSTA (A) with the designation of the highest level - D.

FFS meets the requirements of the so-called “extended envelope and tasks when preparing in adverse weather conditions” - loss of speed, choosing unusual positions, training in icing conditions, gusty winds during take-off and landing, landing with bounces. New requirements have been introduced around the world to improve air traffic safety. The L 410 UVP-E20 FFS is the first in the world to meet these requirements. Detailed technical specifications of the simulator and valid certificates can be found here:

All training is conducted by experienced instructors and examiners who are, in addition to the necessary qualifications, also active commercial pilots with daily practice. In terms of legislation, Base Training and L 410 NG Differential training in accordance with FCL.710 are conducted under CZ / ATO – 057 Aircraft Industries, a.s.. Other trainings are implemented under CZ / ATO 004 Czech Aviation Training Centre, s.r.o., a training organization with which Aircraft Industries closely cooperates, on the basis of a contractual obligation.
